Pacific Kid - About Us

Established in 2005, Pacific Kid is dedicated to providing your child with unique, handcrafted, educational toys and décor from around the globe. We are devoted to providing tools for parents and teachers for interaction with their children and to keeping the true spirit of childhood alive and healthy. Our colorful products invite exploration and discovery, and our toys recall simpler days, when playtime evoked all the wonder and delight one’s imagination can provide.

Based on our common beliefs in the responsible education of our children, we have established our relationship with Kings Kid® by A.V. Glory. A.V. Glory is owned by a single mother of two, Arunee Vesvarut. In 2001, Arunee decided to start her company based on the inspiration of her two children. She loved seeing their imaginations and dreams expressed through the toys they played with.

Arunee, being a great handicraft herself, also remembered when she was little and how she enjoyed making her own toys, such as paper and rag dolls. In those days, toys were usually handmade or crafted from wood or fabric. Each piece was a piece of art and the children learned to value them. Nowadays, with the quick pace of our society and the growing demands of people, most toys are mass produced. The toys that have played an important role in developing kids throughout history have lost their essence and "magic". We agree with Arunee’s philosophy which aims to produce toys that are qualitatively made, retaining their value that will help children develop altogether.

We were captivated by the notion that Arunee built her company into providing work for the community. Currently, she employs about 30-50 full time workers in her factory. They provide training for local and non-local people. These communities of people include single women, housewives, and the disadvantaged. She encourages these women to use their time productively while providing them the opportunity to earn steady or extra income for their families.

We take our responsibility to our children’s education and awareness of the world around them very seriously. All of us at Pacific Kid, (including the input of our three young daughters) look forward to helping you educate the loved little one in your life for years to come.
